Storytellers' Club
About:
During Storytellers' Club, young people will work together to weave fictional worlds, characters, and narratives into a story entirely of their own creation, for display, publication and performance.

The club revolves around weekly creativity-based storytelling sessions which allow young people to get imaginative, build self-efficacy, socialise with other young storytellers, and improve their language and literacy skills. Over each term, they will use creative writing, verbal storytelling and drawing to build their own story or poem on their chosen theme. They will then work together to produce a publication and performance event to showcase their work. Over the weeks, they will learn about story structure, creative writing, editing, collaboration and performance, and they will receive written feedback on their work from a playwright and published poet.
